If you are looking and can`t reach an agreement: If you are a current or former employee and you have any questions, please contact humanresources.vic@ymca.org.au YMCA Victoria has consulted with the relevant union, the Australian Services Union, on this matter. The YMCA Staff 2015 agreement was negotiated with the Australian Services Union and approved by the Fair Labour Commission. To the extent that the aquatic sector is subject to a more in-depth review of underpayment of staff and violation of conditions and rights, YMCA Victoria has assumed full responsibility for the sub-payments and has committed to reimburse all current and past employees involved. In an announcement on YMCA Victoria`s website, it says, “We would never intentionally underpay our employees, and we are working on a process to ensure that all affected employees are reclassified and reimbursed as quickly as possible.” Enterprise agreements are collective agreements between employers and workers on employment conditions. The Fair Labour Commission can provide information on the process of drafting enterprise agreements, evaluate and approve agreements. We can also deal with disputes over the terms of the agreements. After verifying payments to its Aqua employees, YMCA Victoria said it had identified “an error in our compensation for some employees, particularly some swimming instructors and lifeguards.” We invite all former YMCA swimming instructors and lifeguards employed since 2011 to contact us via the form below, as they can be reimbursed for past positions. The YMCA will address former employees directly through the contact information of our systems, but we recognize that in some cases they may not be up to date. Former employees who believe they are entitled to an additional payment are asked to complete the form below and we will verify your application as part of our process. Business agreements can be tailored to the needs of some companies.

An agreement should be overall better for an employee when compared to the corresponding bonuses or rewards. If you are a swimming instructor at a Belgravia Leisure facility, you are employed as part of the 2003 Belgravia Leisure Certified Agreement. It describes your working conditions, such as types of employment, allowances, classifications and rates of pay.
